We skate to learn, we skate for fun & we skate to compete, both at a Regional and Provincial Level.

The new arena on Lansdowne Street, the Miskin Law Community Centre, is scheduled to open on January 15th, 2025. If the opportunity arises, I would encourage you to visit the new arena. Some of the pictures I have seen to date look very impressive. In addition to a twin-pad arena the new community complex will have an indoor walking track, multi-purpose spaces and a new branch of the Peterborough Public Library. The City’s Seat & Bench Fundraising program for the new arena is still active and contributions can be made through the City portal at ‘www.peterborough.ca/haveaseat’
That said, the Quarks will not be moving into the new arena, as our weekly skates will continue at the Healthy Planet Arena. We have been able to acquire more ice time on a Thursday evening, for an hour between 6 and 7pm. Our first Thursday night skate will take place this coming Thursday, January 2nd, 2025.
Our Saturday skate will be continuing in the New Year and starts again on Saturday, January 4th at 7am.
Our Tuesday skaters will be back on the ice on Tuesday, January 7th, 2025.
