Experience has shown us that it is very hard on our younger skaters, and also their parents, to both go back to school and start skating on the same day, the Tuesday after the Labour Day weekend. So, once again, this year we have opted to stagger the start of our skating season.

Our second hour skaters will start back on Tuesday, September 4th and our first hour skaters will start back a week later, on Tuesday, September 11th.

Our Saturday morning program will start back on September 8th.

Our “Open House” will take place on Tuesday, September 11th, starting at 5.15pm. If you have never speed skated before, are curious and want to give it a try, come down to the Evinrude and do just that, give short track speed skating a try.

I look forward to seeing you all back in the arena. Until then, enjoy the last days of summer.
