OUR SEASON RUNS FROM SEPTEMBER 5th TO MARCH 23rd, 2024
We skate to learn, we skate for fun & we skate to compete, both at a Regional and Provincial Level.
It is hard to believe that this is our last week of skating for the season. It seems like only yesterday it was September and our skaters were embracing the registration process.
The last skate for our Tuesday skaters is March 19th and the last skate for our Saturday group is March 23rd, 2024.
I haven’t been in the arena as much as I would have liked this season but the feedback I have received has been very positive. I think it safe to say it has been a good season. We saw some new faces on the ice. Some of our returning skaters got faster and our racers came home on many an occasion with bling. And we finish the season with money in the bank. So, all in all, positive.
We are planning to have our AGM in early May and I will let you know the specific date and location in due course.
For all those who skated this season and all who helped this season, a heart felt thank you from all of us here at the Kawartha Quarks. Without you, we wouldn’t have a club. Enjoy your summer, stay safe and I look forward to seeing you, perhaps at the AGM, and certainly in the arena in September. With the new arena scheduled to open in the Fall the future looks promising.
